Bible Study: "Scripture Crunching"
At KCC we follow the Revised Common Lectionary in our
Sunday worship preparation. In this class, we explore the lectionary
scripture texts two or three weeks before they are the basis of Sunday
worship. This means your input in this class can impact the sermon!
We read and reflect on the text, listening to how they
speak into our lives. Every level of scriptural knowledge is welcome, as we
are not approaching the text as experts, but rather as learners, open to
hearing God's word afresh.
Let your voice be heard! All are welcome. We have
several translations of the Bible available for you to use.
This is an on-going class, meeting almost every Sunday
before worship, 9:15-10:00 am, in the Helliwell Room.
